Custom Cabinet Sign Fabrication Options
Single Sided Cabinet with Retainers
Retainers are essentially the frame that holds your sign face in place. You will have a non-lit “border” around your sign face ranging from 1/2” – 2” plus depending on the size of the sign. The retainer will act as an “L” shape attaching to the returns of the sign with set screws.
Double Sided Cabinet with Retainers
Same construction as a single sided cabinet with retainers, only now the sign will have retainers on both sides. Incorporating translucent faces on both sides of the sign. Most commonly used when being installed on a pole/post for dual visibility.
Pan Face Cabinet
This type of cabinet is non-illuminated, as all side are fabricated out of opaque aluminum material. The returns are either bent, or welded to the face, with “L” angle attaching the returns to the adjacent wall with hardware.
Pan Face Cabinet with Backed Up Acrylic
Similar to a push thru acrylic cabinet. The acrylic will not “push thru” and protrude from the face. Instead, the acrylic will simply be backed up to the face.
Pan Face Cabinet with Push Thru Acrylic
Like a standard pan face cabinet, all sides are fabricated out of opaque aluminum material. This sign includes translucent acrylic that will “push through” the aluminum face, allowing the acrylic to be illuminated. The returns are either bent, or welded to the face, with “L” angle attaching to the returns of the back with hardware.
Pan Face Backer Cabinet
This cabinet will act as a backer for dimensional letter to be attached to the face. Commonly acting as power supply/wire housing. The cabinet back is mounted to the wall, while the faces are removable for access.
